Sony MKE-8040A

The MKE8040A 2-Channel Effects Board is an optional interface accessory board for the MVE-8000A DME processor. When installed, it provides (2) basic DME channels, each capable of generating a variety of digital effects to be utilized by Sony's MVS-8000A system. This versatile effects board intrinsically meets the high demands of high profile video operations often required by broadcast studios, compositing suites, and digital mobile units.

• This board adds 2-channels of Digital Effects to an MVE-8000A processor; each processor can accommodate up to (2) MKE8040A boards.

• A maximum of (8) DME channels using (2) MVE-8000A processors may be added to an MVS-8000A system.

• Multiple channels may be combined to achieve advanced effects such as cubes, slabs and solids.

• Individual channel parameters can be assigned to the timeline for maximum editing and playback flexibility.

• Global coordinates may be assigned to a dedicated timeline that effectively provides independent global operation for each channel.
