Sony BKPF-L642

Sony BKPF-L642 is an encoder module used for conversion of component 4:2:2 serial digital (SDI) to NTSC or PAL composite analog.This module features 10-bit processing 2 times over sampling and a line synchronizer. In conjunction with the BKPF-L641 4:2:2 to NTSC/PAL decoder module the color frame ID extractor function avoids the reverse color frame errors that may be generated by the encode/decode chain. Ancillary data within the VBI is also passed and an internal test signal generator is provided for easy maintenanceUsing 10-bit conversion the BKPF-L642 is ideal for quality-critical applications such as distribution or on-air transmission.
