MECHANICAL

  • Paint/ finishing: powder coated epoxy paint with special extra high temperature treatment in critical areas. External textured low gloss finish.
  • Housing: composed by two parts for easy inspection and maintainance: the lamp housing is formed sheet steel, the carriage housing is die cast and extruded aluminium.
  • Lamp socket: specifically designed G22 base lamp socket. Contacts in brass. Brass wing bolt provides easy lamp replacement.
  • Mounting PO stirrup: robust tubular steel construction, pan & tilt clutch gear mechanisms with friction clutches for manual override. Fitted with 28mm (11/8") spigot.
  • Mounting MO stirrup: robust tubular steel construction fitted with 28mm (1 1/8”) complete with lateral thrust bearing and lock off knob for quick and secure locking.
  • Accessory fitting: die cast aluminium accessory support brackets positioned at an X shape for true barndoor rotation. The lower support bracket includes a quick release barndoor safety catch which prevents the falling of the barndoor in case forgetting to close the top hinged bracket . Spring loaded top hinged bracket has been designed for very quick opening and closing and for easy accessory fitting and removal by one hand.
  • Tilt adjustment: pivot located at centre of gravity for excellent balance and positive locking.
  • Focus adjustment: the new wire focus mechanism, reliable and maintenance free, provides a smooth and precise action from spot to flood positions. The wire is stainless steel. The side pole operated mechanism is easily adaptable from pole operation to manual.
  • Lamp access: hinged lens door allowing an easy access for lamp replacement. The hinge assembly can be registered to have always a perfect opening lens door, so as to avoid accidents during its opening with accessories loaded.
