Digital BETACAM Processor Board
The HKSR-5002 is a plug-in decoder board to allow the SRW-5000 VTR to play back Digital Betacam tapes. With this acccessory. the VTR can provide a standard definition SDI or composite analog output, and a high definition 1080i output from any Digital Betcam tape. Even Digital Betcam tapes recorded in PAL (625/50) can be upconverted to 1080i/50 HD pictures.When used with the optional HKSR-5001 Format Converter, an NTSC Digital Betcam tape can be upconverted to 720P/59.94.
• Provides the SRW-5000/5500 with the capability to playback Digital BETACAM tapes for output in both HD and SD.
• Digital Betacam playback with Dynamic Tracking -1 to +3
• Up-conversion output is available from HD-SDI output as well as SDI and composite output
• Playback formats are 525/59.94i (NTSC) and 625/50i (PAL)
