Vandal resistant outdoor housing for use in harsh environmental conditions with SNC-CH/VB/EB/ZB and SSC-FB/CB/G/YB series cameras
This outdoor anti-vandal fixed camera housing provides rugged all-weather protection against wind, rain and extreme temperatures.
Ideal for wall or pole mounting, the UNI-ORBC2 is designed for easy installation, with features like a side hinge and snap-in camera mounting sled for easy set-up and servicing.
The versatile housing is capable of accommodating wide-angle camera lenses up to 135° and a heavy duty cast aluminium feed-thru wall / pole mount with ¾ inch conduit input for simplified maintenance.
Suitable for year-round outdoor use, the camera enclosure is weatherproofed to meet NEMA Type 4 standards. It’s also IP66 rated to guard against moisture and dust ingress, and is IK10 impact rated. The housing can withstand a maximum wind load rating of 150 mph (240 km/h), with an effective projected area (EPA) of 101 sq in.
It’s designed to perform in extreme temperatures over a range from -40°C to 50°C. An integrated heater optimises airflow to the housing window and camera lens to assure clear pictures even in icy, snowy conditions.

Compatible with wide range of Sony video security cameras
The UNI-ORBC2 is compatible with IP SNC-CH, VB, ZB, EB and analogue SSC-Gxx3 (12VDC/24VAC), FB, YB, CB box-type indoor cameras.

Adjustable sunshield
The adjustable sunshield guards the camera against extremes of temperature from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight in very bright conditions.

Versatile powering options
The housing can be operated with 24V AC (in) for heater and blower and 24V AC (out) for the camera. Please note that the housing is not suitable for powering PoE only cameras.
